Irish Jack Terriers is located in Boxford, Massachusetts. We are 1 hour from Logan International Airport and 1/2 hour from Manchester NH Regional Airport, if we need to ship a puppy it is fairly convenient and less stress on the pup .

We breed one to two litters a year. It gives us the opportunity to give the pups all the attention they need. The pups are born in our bedroom (my husband is a very patient and understanding person), in a whelping box. They spend their first two weeks with mom in this quiet space. I typically bring them down to the family room/ kitchen area (it's an open concept) at about two-three weeks, so the other dogs can interact with them and they can get used to 'family life'. Our household consists of an African Parrott, one of the best cats in the world named 'Flick' and the other dogs- you can meet them on the 'dogs' page. We have two girls, ages 8 and 10. They are a phenomenal help! They interact with the puppies from day one.

We try to expose the pups to the outdoors if we can.  Our outdoor animals are chickens and Guinea Hens- it introduces the pups to all kinds of new sounds, and the fresh air and sunshine are great too!

I am a stay at home mom. When we do have a litter it gives me the opportunity to be close to home at all times. I am committed to raising happy, healthy dogs.

I am currently taking obedience classes with Bella and Covey. We are having a great time! Covey is a WONDER Dog, he is not your typical Jack Russell Terrier. He is amazing in obedience!! Yes, I am a proud Jack Russell owner.

With regard to signing up with one of the 'clubs' to register the dogs. I am considering it. Though, there is such  a political division. one says this, the other says that. Both Bella and Covey have 3d and 4th generation pedigree.  If anyone has some advice with regards to this matter, please email me.
